THE NARROW PATH – Part Two / Video A – Stand Firm In Jesus

Do Not Harden Your Hearts – Stand Firm In Jesus and Occupy

This word that I received in my spirit prompted this series: “To be absent from the body is to be one with the Lord.”

Then I received this word in my spirit during prayer on October 25, 2023 at 11:40 AM

Remember the covenants of your youth and press forward to fulfill them by maintaining and making God centered decisions that bring His blessings for your life. For it is the mind of fools that corrupts the innocent into thinking God is something that He is not. Never forget: choices bring blessings or curses. Choices grow from seeds of thought that are planted into one’s heart. Choose life in the path that started as a seed from the covenants of your youth and promises made to you by God. Walk in your God centered path unto salvation.

To walk in Grace is to walk in faith believing that God is. To walk in Grace is to walk in the leading of The Holy Spirit. For it is by walking in The Holy Spirit that we learn what is pleasing to God. God’s Grace is His Spirit teaching us what pleases Him. That’s why Jesus said: If you love Me obey Me.

Everyone repeat this with me: Jesus – You are the Light unto my path and the Lamp unto my feet!
Because of God’s Great Mercy We Must Testify Of This Blessing: “To Absent from the body is to be one with The Lord”!
So no matter what happens in the flesh we are always one with God in The Holy Spirit through the work Jesus did on the cross of suffering.

Video Two – Part A: Do Not Harden Your Hearts – Stand Firm In Jesus and Occupy Through The Walk of Obedience

Because Jesus Is The Founder and Perfecter of Our Faith Let’s Put This Scripture From Hebrews 12:1-3: Into Our Hearts and Minds
1 Therefore, since we are
a) surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses,
b) let us also lay aside every weight, and
c) sin which clings so closely, and
d) let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
2 e) looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith,
f) who for the joy that was set before him
g) endured the cross,
h) despising the shame, and is
I) seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

A. Do Not Grow Weary –
v3 Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted.

Question: If we truly are in Christ how much more should we who are under grace bow and humble ourselves before The Lord God Our Creator because we have been blessed by His grace with The Holy Spirit to lead us and guide us in our faith walk?

We know Jesus ushered in what we like to term the dispensation of grace through the work of His cross. His work, His cross is a greater covenant, a perfect covenant sealed by His blood. How much more, because of this perfect gift, should we let Him the perfecter of our faith teach us and guide us concerning what Grace really means?

B. It is BY (HIS) Faith, through His Grace, working in us that we can even believe and find salvation.
It is God The Holy Spirit, our promise, Grace given from both The Father and Son who guides us and teaches us what is pleasing to God. Paul tells us from the book of Hebrews just how perfect The Father’s covenant with Jesus is for us.
Hebrews Chapter 7:18-28
18 Yes, the old requirement about the priesthood was set aside because it was weak and useless.
19 For the law never made anything perfect. But now we have confidence in a better hope, through which we draw near to God.
20 This new system was established with a solemn oath. Aaron’s descendants became priests without such an oath,
21 but there was an oath regarding Jesus. For God said to him,
“The LORD has taken an oath and will not break his vow: ‘You are a priest forever.’”
22 Because of this oath, Jesus is the one who guarantees He is the better covenant with God.
23 There were many priests under the old system, for death prevented them from remaining in office.
24 But because Jesus lives forever, his priesthood lasts forever.
25 Therefore He is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through Him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their (our) behalf.
26 He is the kind of high priest we need because He is Holy and Blameless, unstained by sin. He has been set apart from sinners and has been given the highest place of honor in heaven.

Read Revelation 5:1-8, this revelation reveals the Son of man, The Son of God standing before His Father at The High Throne of Heaven.

27 Unlike those other high priests, He does not need to offer sacrifices every day. They did this for their own sins first and then for the sins of the people. But Jesus did this once for all when He offered himself as the sacrifice for the people’s sins.
28 The law appointed high priests who were limited by human weakness. But after the law was given,
God appointed his Son with an oath, and his Son has been made the perfect High Priest forever.

This is where people get off track in believing they can live any life style they want to when coming to Christ.

But, here are the facts:
1 Therefore, since we are
a) surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses,
b) let us also lay aside every weight, and
c) sin which clings so closely, and
d) let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
2 e) looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith,
f) who for the joy that was set before him
g) endured the cross,
h) despising the shame, and is
I) seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
A. Do Not Grow Weary – While Doing Good
3 Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted.
C. Jesus, The Great Shepherd, Is The Author and perfecter of our faith. This is the faith Jesus exemplified and spoke to us about in the four Gospels and through out the New Testament.

Jesus said “If you see Me you see The Father who Is in Me”. In Jesus’s actions and by His commands we see the face and hear the voice of God through His perfect Son. Just as Jesus walked in obedience to His Father He has directed us to follow His example and to “Occupy The Walk of Obedience” until He returns.
