Psalm 8 The Lord’s Glory and Man’s Dignity

The Praying Psalms series by pastor and evangelist Eddie Biamonte of TheVine WC has a three fold purpose: to wake up the body of Christ to pray the word of God, to speak to them about the power they have in Holy Spirit and prayer, and to encourage repentance to those who have grown cold in faith and those who don’t know Jesus as their Lord and Savior to dedicate their lives to Jesus Christ. The world is desperately evil. Remember: the devil and his minions, his followers are about stealing, lying and destroying every blessing God has for those who love Him. Fight the good fight of faith in prayer and pray for the destruction of evil in every dimension. Amen and Amen!

Psalm 8 

A Psalm of David To The Lord’s Glory and Man’s Dignity.

NASV: 1 O Lord, our Lord, How majestic is Your name in all the earth, Who have displayed Your splendor above the heavens!

2 From the mouth of infants and nursing babes You have established strength, Because of Your adversaries, To make the enemy and the revengeful cease.

ESV: O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth, You have set your glory above the heavens.

2 Out of the mouth of babies and infants, you have established strength because of your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger.

KJV: O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.

2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightiest still the enemy and the avenger.

NLV: O Lord, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth! Your glory is higher than the heavens.

2 You have taught children and infants to tell of your strength, silencing your enemies and all who oppose you.

God is in control. We in the body of Christ must realize He cares about everything that concerns us. We as His church must realize we can pray “To make the enemy and the revengeful cease” just as David prayed. And, we can go directly into the throne room of grace in the name of Jesus to let our request be made known to Him. There is so much dimensional evil in the world we have no clue what’s really being planned by Lucifer. Yet, as Martin Luther stated: one word shall fell him, Jesus! Pray against evil in every dimension: evil spirits, evil plans, evil people in every dimension. Pray that evil falls to the plan of their own destruction. Ask Jesus: “To make the enemy and the revengeful cease,” and bring them to justice.

God Is Our Creator and In Control

3 When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained;

In the Garden before the fall of man by Adam and Eve, Adam was given the task of naming God’s creation. God walked with Adam in the cool of the day. After the fall, Jesus made a better way through His body and His blood. We can walk with Him in the cool of the day just as Adam did in the Garden.

This points to Jesus, why?, because he is both God and Man and is due all the glory.

4 What is man that You take thought of him, And the son of man that You care for him?

5 Yet You have made him a little lower than God, And You crown him with glory and majesty!

6 You make him to rule over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet,

7 All sheep and oxen, And also the beasts of the field,

8 The birds of the heavens and the fish of the sea, Whatever passes through the paths of the seas.

9 O Lord, our Lord, How majestic is Your name in all the earth!

Our Godhead is truly Magnificent! Praise You Father God, King Jesus and Holy Sprit. Thank You for every blessing, every promise and Your faithfulness. Amen and Amen

Heavenly Father, In The Name Of Jesus, I want to get saved so I can go to heaven.
Please forgive my sins and Jesus please come into my heart and be my personal Lord and Savior.

Heavenly Father, in Jesus Name, I pray Your blessing to be upon every daughter and son who has given their life to Jesus by asking Him to be their personal Lord and Savior. Bless them Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit. Protect them from every evil in every dimension. Allow their new faith in Jesus to grow deep in rich wonderful soil watered daily by Your Holy Spirit and fed by Your Word. I pray they would become as “oaks of righteousness unto Your glory” through Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen.
