The Love List

Can we aspire to fulfill such a lofty quest? I believe we can try because we have The Holy Spirit who empowers us, and leads us and guides in all truth. But before we get to the walk and fruits lists we have to focus on the most excellent way. God always a plan to help us be successful. 

Every morning and before going to bed I love to start and end my day by reading the bible. It’s my heart felt need to start and end the day on a perfect note from God. There’s no better way to do that than to focus on Him. 

The bible always helps us center on God. 

As I was reading First Corinthians chapters 12: 27-31 and 13:1-13, this thought flashed in my spirit: Jesus fulfilled every position of ministry to the church that Paul mentioned in 12: 27-31 Jesus did it perfectly by walking in the fruit of The Holy Spirit listed in Galatian’s 5:22-26. Then to put the icing on the cake Paul talks about how we are to fulfill the walk which was done perfectly by Jesus.

During the Exodus He gave us a short list that has stood the test of time The Ten Commandments. God is faithful to those who love Him. He will always show us the way that is pleasing to Him. I believe that’s why He gives us lists to follow, to make it easy for us to understand what He’s desiring for us. God knows we need His guidance so He opened the door for us and invited us in to receive His blessings. All we have to do is accept his invitation and choose to follow the guidance He has provided for us.

I. The Love List – I Corinthians 13:1-13,

The only One who walked in the fulness of The Love List was Jesus. Yet Paul, who spent time with Jesus in the Third Heaven blessed us with this revelational love list that came directly from The Throne Of Grace to help us.

A. V1 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a ringing gong or a clanging cymbal. 

B. V2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, 

C. and if I have absolute faith so as to move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 

D. V3 If I give all I possess to the poor and exult in the surrender of my body, but have not love, I gain nothing.

E. V4 Love is patient, 

F. love is kind. 

G. love does not envy, 

H. love does not boast, 

I. love is not proud. 

J. V5 love is not rude,

K. love is not self-seeking, 

L. love is not easily angered, 

M. love keeps no account of wrongs. 

N. V6 Love takes no pleasure in evil, 

O. love rejoices in the truth. 

P. V7 love bears all things, 

Q. love believes all things, 

R. love hopes all things, 

S. love endures all things.

T. V8 Love never fails. 

Prophecy and speaking in unknown tongues, languages and special revelational knowledge will become useless after fulfillment. But love will last forever! V9 Now our knowledge is partial and incomplete, and even the gift of prophecy reveals only part of the whole picture! V10 but when the perfect comes, the partial passes away. 

V11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I set aside childish ways. V12 Now we see but a dim reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

V13 And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love; but the greatest of these is love.

Altar Call

Jesus IS the perfect reflection of His Father. He was Led By The Holy Spirit unto The Glory of God His Father.

His example is exactly what we are supposed to be doing by His Name because He Is The Light of Life that emanated from The Light of Creation Almighty God.

NO ONE HAS TO GO TO HELL!

Pray this simple but very profound pray with me. Heavenly Lord Jesus, I want to get saved so I can go to heaven. Please forgive my sins, come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. Write my name in Your Book of Life. Please fill my heart and life with The Holy Spirit to guide me through your word and empower me to live my life for you every day.

BONUS: This prayer and blessing is for you: Heavenly Father, in Jesus Name, I pray for Your blessing to be upon every daughter and son who has given their life to Jesus by asking Him to be their personal Lord and Savior. Bless them Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit. Protect them from every evil. Allow their new faith to grow deep in rich wonderful soil watered daily by Holy Spirit and fed by Your Word. I pray they would become as “oaks of righteousness unto Your glory” through Jesus name I pray, Amen and Amen.
