Our new 4 part series is About Learning To Walk In The Peace, Promises and Blessings of God.
How To Stand Firm In The Mercies Of God While Occupying In The Day Of Testing
Part One – Do Not Harden Your Hearts On The Path of Salvation
Part Two – Do Not Harden Your Hearts – Stand Firm In Jesus and Occupy
Part Three – Do Not Harden Your Hearts – Press Into Jesus For Victory
Part Four – Do Not Harden Your Hearts When You Hear God’s Warnings For His Church And All Of HIS Creation.
Everyone repeat this with me: Jesus – You are the Light unto my path and the Lamp unto my feet!
Because of Your Great Mercy We Must Testify Of This Blessing: “To Absent from the body is to be one with The Lord”
I received this word in my spirit during prayer on October 25, 2023 at 11:40 AM
Remember the covenants of your youth and press forward to fulfill them by maintaining and making God centered decisions that bring His blessings for your life. For it is the mind of fools that corrupts the innocent into thinking God is something that He is not. Never forget: choices bring blessings or curses. Choices grow from seeds of thought that are planted into one’s heart. Choose life in the path that started as a seed from the covenants of your youth and promises made to you by God. Walk in the God centered path unto salvation.
To walk in Grace is to walk in faith believing that God is. To walk in Grace is to walk in the leading of The Holy Spirit. For it is by walking in The Holy Spirit that we learn what is pleasing to God. God’s Grace is His Spirit teaching us what pleases Him. That’s why Jesus said: If you love Me obey Me. So no matter what happens in the flesh we are always one with Jesus in The Spirit through the work of His cross.
Part One – Do Not Harden Your Hearts On The Path of Salvation
If someone stated to you: Listen – it’s about to get really shaky for many who say they are a part of the body of Christ but are not living for God. What would you say to them?
As an Evangelist / Pastor, I would keep saying: we must press into the promises of God, we must study to show ourselves approved so we can stand strong with a God centered mindset during the time of testing…
This is truth: Narrow is the path unto salvation / Wide is the path to destruction.
A lot of people believe to be on the narrow path is to pray this single prayer: ask Jesus into you’re heart to be your savior. If you pray this you’re good, you’re on the path toward the final outcome at The White Throne Judgement. In part both are correct.
It is true this prayer of salvation will put us at the beginning of the path of salvation and it is true we will all stand before God to receive our final outcome concerning eternity. However – have you ever thought: Narrow is the path unto salvation / wide is the path to destruction is about every step in the journey we take in our walk of Salvation that ends at the The White Throne of Judgement?
The word walk is a verb – that depicts an ongoing action.
The Bible tells us: Narrow Is The Path, Walk in The Spirit, Walk in Obedience, Walk by Faith, Walk Believing, Trust in God, He Is The Light unto our path, He Is The Lamp unto our feet…
What I’m hearing from heaven about this message is:
A) We have been given a Great Blessing that we must act upon.
B) We have also been given a directive to occupy that we must act upon until He (Jesus) physically returns.
C) We have been given a warning from heaven: “narrow is path” which speaks directly to the ongoing action – the walk of our salvation.
D) This revelation concerning the pathway to God has been given by God to bless every human being on the face of planet earth.
What is the Great blessing we have been given? Choice Of Action. We have been given the opportunity to Act upon the blessings of God.
We are saved by Grace through the action of faith. The action of faith is believing that God is who He says He is and what He has done for us.
What are some of the actions by faith we can choose to take that have been given to us by Grace?
1) WE CAN FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD THE FATHER THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD, OUR SAVIOR, OUR KING of kings and
2) BE LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT CONCERNING WALKING ON THE NARROW PATH OF OUR SALVATION
3) GOD’S NARROW PATH IS BIG ENOUGH FOR TWO AS WE WALK WITH OUR SHEPHERD, OUR GOD.
4) THE NARROW PATH IS BIG ENOUGH FOR THOSE WE LEAD TO CHRIST AND DISCIPLE
5) THE NARROW PATH IS A CALL TO OCCUPY THE PATH OF OBEDIENCE UNTIL HE RETURNS
Because of His Great GRACE AND MERCY We Should Testify Of This Blessing That Will Bring Great Peace: “To Absent from the body is to be one with The Lord”
These five blessings plus many many others are the direct result of a direct relationship offered to all humanity by God through Jesus Christ, His One True Son! If we are in Christ we are blessed with a link for immediate communication with God who desires us to walk on the narrow path of salvation. As we allow ourselves to be led by The Holy Spirit we will be right in the center of that path.
II Corinthians 5:6-10
6 Therefore, being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord 7 for we walk by faith, not by sight 8 but we are of good courage and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord. 9 Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive compensation for his deeds done through the body, in accordance with what he has done, whether good or bad.
If we are not in Christ, there is no focus to use the link of God’s mercy. And those who are not in Christ, who don’t follow Him or if there is anyone who openly or even secretly rejects His commands they are walking on what the Bible terms is the wide path unto destruction. The wide path to destruction is simply the path that is outside of the blessings of God. That is why it is so important to make sure we are on the narrow path.
Simply put – The narrow path is actually the path of obedience which leads us to even greater blessings. At the center of the path of our salvation is actually where the fullness of His Grace is.
Why?
Video One – Part Two
In The center of our path is where The Holy Spirit Is. As we walk in obedience to Him we walk in the promised blessing that The Spirit of Truth will lead us and guide us concerning all things that pertain to God. How is this possible? The Holy Spirit IS God!
During the Exodus the sons and daughters of Abraham who were chosen by God, God’s children, were repeatedly blessed by God. The Torah and Pentateuch state God’s children were given pretty specific details concerning the path God wanted them to take. Here’s an example: Israel was given directives by God to occupy under the cloud of blessing during daylight.
The covering was given to protect them from the great heat of the desert. And Israel was blessed to be guarded and guided by God’s pillar of Fire at night. When enemies saw the pillar of Fire they fled in fear. Because of God’s Love and Grace the pillar of Fire was also a Light unto their path and a Lamp unto their feet. When they abided in God’s provision they were walking in the center and direction God wanted them to walk in.
We have been given the same blessing today. Those who are in Christ can receive The Holy Spirit of blessing in three ways: 1) He fills us at salvation, 2) His power moves upon us to grace to accomplish His will and 3) He hovers over us to bless us with His direction when we trust in Him.
Just so you know, during the Exodus it was The Spirit of God that hovered as a cloud and pillar of Fire. This is the same Spirit that hovered over the earth at creation.
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
2 Now the earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.
Isn’t it amazing, during the Exodus, The Holy Spirit revealed Himself as a Cloud of Glory, a Covering and a Pillar of Fire to God’s children? Concerning our walk in Christ, The Father’s blessings are still prevalent today. The Exodus symbols: the Cloud of Glory and The Holy Spirit’s Fire was present on the day of Pentecost in Acts 2;4. On that incredible day when 120 disciples were gathered in the upper room The Holy Spirit descended upon them and filled the room. He blessed the disciples with His Holy manifest presence and graced them with tongues as of fire. The Disciples who had gathered in obedience to God when Jesus told them to do so at His ascension were blessed with The Dynamos of God. The Dynamos of God is The Holy Spirit that God the Father and Jesus promised.
Jesus told His disciples to occupy in Jerusalem and wait for the blessing His Father has promised to give them.
Acts 1: 4 And while they were gathered together, He commanded them: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift The Father promised, which you have heard Me discuss. 5 For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”
Acts 2: 1 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like a mighty rushing wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 They saw tongues like flames of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as The Holy Spirit enabled them.
Just as the 12 tribes had to learn to obey God in the wilderness, the Apostles and disciples had to do the same. And we (today) must obey The Holy Spirit, who is The Spirit of Truth, that leads us and guides us on our narrow paths to victory.
Learning To Obey God Brings Great Blessings to His Disciples
Psalm 95: 6-11 Gives us a view into the relationship God wants with His children.
Who are His children today? All who would humble themselves and call upon God The Father Through The Lord Jesus Christ Our Perfect Lord and Savior are His children.
The Great Shepherd During Ancient Times Repeatedly Spoke To His People Through The Prophets, Patriarchs, Judges and Priests.
Their Admonition To The People Of God Was: Let Us Humble Ourselves Before Our Great and Mighty Eternal God.
6 O come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD God our Maker.
7 For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture, the sheep under His care.
Question: How does this admonition speak to you: Let Us Humble Ourselves Before Our Great and Eternal God; Is this word of The lord still valid today? Absolutely!!
Today, if you hear His voice:
8 do not harden your hearts as they did at Meribah, in the day, at Massah in the wilderness,
9 where your fathers tested and tried Me, though they had seen My work.
10 For forty years I was angry with that generation, and I said, “They are a people whose hearts go astray, and they have not known My ways.”
11 So I swore on oath in My anger, “They shall never enter My rest.”
